CHAPTER TWO — Curiosity Droned the Cat.
Mary Watson sat in the grey, dreary office, her brown eyes glazed over from the monotony of her job. The walls seemed to close in, the fluorescent lights bright overhead a constant reminder of the tedium she faced. Only half an hour remained until she could escape the claustrophobic confines of her workplace and breathe in the sweet taste of freedom. Her thoughts drifted to Amanda, her heart swelling with a mix of concern and excitement. They’d shared so much just lately, and she couldn’t wait to talk with her friend and share what they had learned about those mysterious silver-skinned drones.
Two of the drones in question were currently stationed in the far corner of the office, their sleek forms bent over keyboards and screens, working tirelessly without breaks or complaints. Their beauty was undeniable, yet something about them sent a shiver down her spine. Despite their lifelike appearance, they remained aloof, a stark contrast to the warmth of human companionship she craved.
Her phone vibrated in her pocket, jolting her from her musings. She pulled it out to find a text from Amanda: “Come and see me about six I’ve made this fabulous discovery about the silver women.” The message was a beacon of intrigue in the sea of boredom that was her workday. She replied with a hasty thumbs-up emoji, her mind racing with the possibilities.
The clock finally ticked down to five, and Mary practically sprinted out of the office, her heels clacking against the linoleum floor. She couldn’t shake the feeling that her life was about to take an unexpected turn. The air outside was cool, the scent of rain in the air hinting at the approaching storm. As she walked, a pair silver-booted drones ed her by, their movements almost graceful in their efficiency.
When she reached Amanda’s flat, the door was already ajar, the warm light spilling out into the hallway like a beacon. She stepped inside, her eyes adjusting to the dim interior. There was no sign of Amanda, however. Mary called out to her but there was no answer.
The living room was unchanged from her last visit, but the atmosphere was charged with an energy that was palpable. It was as if the very air was alive with secrets, waiting to be shared. She followed the trail of discarded clothing that led her to the bedroom, her heart racing with anticipation.
The door was slightly ajar, and she pushed it open with trembling hands. There, on the bed, lay Amanda, her body a canvas of pleasure painted by the skilled hands of the drone that hovered above her. The drone’s silver skin gleamed in the soft light, her eyes hidden by the visor that reflected the room around them. Amanda’s eyes were closed, her lips parted in a silent moan as the drone’s hand moved between her legs, eliciting gasps and whimpers that sent a jolt of excitement through Mary’s body.
The drone looked up, her gaze piercing even through the semi-opaque visor. She seemed to sense Mary’s presence, her head tilting slightly to the side as if in question. Amanda’s eyes fluttered open, and she saw her friend standing there, her cheeks flushed and her mouth open in shock. The drone’s hand never ceased its rhythmic dance, the sound of skin on skin a gentle counterpoint to the rain storm that was raging outside.
“Mary,” Amanda gasped, her voice a mix of embarrassment and pleasure. “What are you doing here?”
Mary couldn’t tear her eyes away from the sight before her. The drone’s silver hand was a blur between Amanda’s thighs, the human’s hips rising to meet each stroke with an eagerness that was both mesmerizing and confusing. “I... I got your text... you told me to come.” She managed to stutter out, her eyes wide. “I had to see for myself.”
Amanda’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, but she didn’t shoo her friend away. Instead, she reached out a trembling hand, beckoning her closer. “It’s... it’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before.” She whispered, her eyes glazed with a mix of ion and something else something that made Mary’s stomach flip-flop.
Mary took a tentative step forward, the reality of what she was seeing finally sinking in. “But you’re straight,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. It was a statement more than a question, a declaration of disbelief that seemed to hang in the air between them.
Amanda’s eyes searched hers, the drone’s hand never pausing in its tender ministrations. “Does it matter?” she asked, her voice hoarse with need. “Does it matter when it feels this good?”
Mary’s heart hammered in her chest, the line between friendship and desire blurring before her very eyes. She took another step forward, her hand reaching out to touch the cool flesh of the drone’s shoulder. “Amanda...” She whispered, her voice thick with unspoken questions: she had fancied Amanda since they were at school but had never dared make a move because her friend was so obviously hetero....
Amanda’s eyes searched hers, a silent plea for understanding. “Come here,” she murmured, her voice a soft invitation filled with want. “You don’t have to do anything, just... be with me.”
Mary’s hand hovered in the air for a moment before she stepped closer, her curiosity overpowering her surprise. She sat on the edge of the bed, her eyes never leaving the drone’s hand as it moved in a hypnotic dance against the puffiness of Amanda’s most intimate of places. The room was filled with the spicy scent of arousal, the air thick with the promise of something new and incredible.
“Her name is AT-03,” Amanda managed to say through her panting breaths. “She’s... they’re more than just drones... they’re alive... they’re people... they’re not machines...”
Mary swallowed hard, trying to process what she was seeing and hearing. Her gaze flickered from Amanda’s face to the drone’s, trying to reconcile the lifelike features with the robotic appearance. “Are... are you okay?”
AT-03’s voice was a soothing purr, her eyes locked onto Mary’s. “Miss Mitchel is quite well.” She said reassuringly, her silver fingers never ceasing their rhythmic stroking. “In fact, she’s never felt more alive.”
Mary’s gaze flicked between the two of them, her mind racing with questions she didn’t dare voice. Yet the sight of her friend’s blissful expression was undeniable, and it stirred something within her. Slowly, she reached out and brushed a lock of hair from Amanda’s flushed face. The drone’s eyes remained on hers, watching, waiting.
“What do you want from us?” Mary asked, her voice barely audible over the storm outside.
AT-03’s hand paused for a moment, then continued its relentless pursuit of Amanda’s pleasure. “We only wish to share our gift.” She murmured. “To help you all feel as alive as Miss Mitchel does now.”
Outside, the rain became heavier, the sound of it pounding against the window mixing with the rhythmic sounds of the drone’s movements. Amanda’s breath grew ragged, her body taut with tension as she hovered on the brink of climax.
Mary felt the beginnings of arousal, the heat pooling in her belly. She’d never felt anything like this before, never been so exposed to something so alien yet so alluring. “But why?” she asked, her voice shaking. “Why us? Why Amanda ’n me?”
AT-03 leaned in, her breath warm against Mary’s ear. “We find those who are lost, those who are damaged.” She murmured. “Those who need to be found. Those who no longer feel alive.”
The room seemed to spin, the walls closing in around her. Mary watched as Amanda’s body arched off the bed, her back bowing as the drone brought her to a crescendo of pleasure that seemed to shake the very foundations of the room. And then, with a final gasp, she collapsed, boneless and satisfied.
The drone’s hand stilled, and she turned her gaze back to Mary. “Your turn, Miss Watson.” She said, her voice a gentle command. “This is what you want.”
Mary felt twin thrills of terror and excitement mingle within her. She knew that if she took this step, there would be no going back. But the sight of Amanda, the feel of the drone’s skin, the sight of her magnificent breasts, the promise of something so intense it was beyond human understanding... it was all too much to resist.
With a trembling hand, she reached down and touched herself, her eyes never leaving AT-03’s. “How do you even know what we want?” she asked, her voice a hoarse whisper.
The drone leaned in, her breasts brushing against Mary’s arm. “We are designed to understand.” She replied, her voice filled with a strange warmth. “We are designed to give you what you need.”
The storm raged on, the thunder a distant echo of the ion that filled the room. Amanda lay still, watching with a sleepy smile as her friend took the first tentative steps into this beguiling new world. The drone’s hand hovered over Mary, the silver fingers poised to bring her to the same heights of ecstasy.
Mary took a deep breath, her hand stalling. “But what about love?” she asked, her voice cracking. “Can you love?”
AT-03’s visor reflected the soft glow of the room. “Love is a complex emotion,” she said, her voice a gentle hum, “but we too love... we love without ing judgement. This unit loves its sisters... This unit loves its hive... This unit loves those who it helps find themselves.”
The drone removed its visor and dropped it onto the bedside table, her movements fluid and graceful and not at all mechanical.
Mary hesitated as she watched. “But you are a machine!”
“No,” Amanda said quietly, “she’s a person.”
“Let us help you, Miss Watson, we are programmed to care for those we are with, we can give you what you need to heal.”
Mary nodded, her eyes filling with tears. “Then show me,” she whispered. “Show me what it’s like to feel alive again.”
AT-03’s smile grew and she leaned across, her large breasts hanging down, their lips met, their kiss a strange yet comforting sensation. And as the drone slipped its hand into her panties the young woman sighed as that cool hand began its dance. Mary felt the walls of her world crumble away, leaving her vulnerable and open to the possibilities that lay before her.
The rain continued to fall, a soothing backdrop to their exploration. Amanda watched from the bed, her eyes filled with understanding and something else a hint of jealousy that she quickly pushed aside. This was Mary’s journey too, and she knew that they had to travel together.
Amanda reached across and began to unfasten Mary’s clothes and help her out of them until they were both as naked as the drone whose ministrations continued and the woman felt herself fall more and more under the silver creatures spell.
As the AT-03’s touch grew more insistent, Mary moaned, her body responding in ways she never knew were possible. The sensations were overwhelming, each stroke a symphony of pleasure that seemed to resonate through to her very soul.
The room was a blur of silver flesh and pink flesh, the sounds of the storm outside forgotten as AT-03’s skilled hands worked their magic on Mary. Amanda watched from the bed, the warmth of her own recent climax fading as she observed her friend’s transformation. The drone’s touch was tender yet firm, each movement calculated to evoke the most intense reactions from a human body.
Mary’s eyes rolled back in her head, her mouth open in a silent scream as the pleasure grew more intense. Her hand remained on AT-03’s shoulder, her nails digging in as she clung to the only solid thing there was in the whirlwind of sensation that had engulfed her.
Amanda leaned over and kissed her, her own ion rekindled by the sight of her friend’s rapture. The kiss was soft and gentle, a promise of acceptance and comfort amidst the chaos. It was a moment of pure connection, bridging the gap between human and drone, between the lost and the found.
Mary’s eyes fluttered open, her gaze meeting Amanda’s as the drone’s hand continued to explore her most intimate of places. She leaned into Amanda’s kiss which deepened as the sensations grew more intense. Her hand slid down the drone’s body, feeling the smooth silver flesh, the warmth beneath it a testament to the life that flowed within.
The three of them remained locked in this intimate embrace, the storm outside a distant echo of the tumultuous emotions within the room. Amanda’s kiss grew more urgent, her own desire rising as she watched the drone bring her best friend to the brink.
AT-03 paused, her hand resting on Mary’s thigh, allowing the kiss to take precedence. The sight of the two humans, so entwined in ion and trust, filled her with something akin to joy. She had been programmed to understand love and its uses to her hive, but it was the first time she had felt such an intense warmth blossoming in her core: she loved her sisters but this was something more.
With a final, lingering kiss, Amanda pulled back, her eyes shining with a newfound appreciation for the depths of human emotion. “Thank you,” she murmured, her voice filled with gratitude.
Mary nodded, her eyes glazed with pleasure. “Thank you,” she echoed, her voice a throaty whisper. She turned to AT-03, her eyes questioning. “What now?”
The drone leaned in, her visor glinting in the soft light. “Now,” she said, her voice a gentle purr, “we continue your journey. Trust me, Miss Watson, we are all in good hands.”
And with that, she resumed her movements, her silver fingers deftly bringing Mary to new heights of ecstasy. Amanda watched, her heart racing, as her friend’s body responded to the drone’s touch, each gasp and moan a testament to the power of the connection they shared.
As Mary’s climax built, AT-03 leaned in to kiss her neck, her free hand sliding up to cup her breast. The young woman’s body quivered, her eyes squeezed shut as she rode the wave of pleasure that crashed over her.
And when the storm of sensation finally abated, leaving her gasping and trembling, it was Amanda who caught her, holding her close as she spoke words of comfort and love into her ear. The drone’s hand stilled, her voice little more than a purr of satisfaction, a gentle lullaby in the quiet that followed.
In that moment, the three of them were one a trio bound by desire and discovery, forever changed by the shared experience of something that was more than mere mechanics. It was a bond that transcended the boundaries of their differences, a bond forged in the fire of ion and curiosity.
As the rain outside grew louder, so too did the beating of their hearts, a symphony of life that echoed through the room. Amanda knew that nothing would ever be the same again, but she also knew that she had found something more precious than she could have ever imagined.
And in the arms of the woman she had always loved and the gentle embrace of the drone who had shown them a new world, Mary felt more alive than she ever had before.
The kiss lingered, a silent declaration of trust and understanding that sured words. It was a pact of sorts, an agreement to walk this path together, no matter where it led.
When they finally pulled apart, Amanda’s eyes searched Mary’s, seeking reassurance. The brunette nodded, a soft smile playing on her lips. “I’m with you,” she whispered, her voice shaky but resolute.
AT-03 watched them, her gaze filled with something that could only be described as affection. “Your journey has just begun,” she murmured. “But fear not, for I will be with you every step of the way.”
The two women looked at each other, their hearts beating in unison. To them the future was uncertain, but in that moment, all that mattered was the warmth of each other’s arms and the promise of a love that knew no bounds.
The storm outside had ed, leaving in its wake a fresh, clean scent that filled the room. It was a new beginning, a clean slate on which to write their story. And as they lay there, entwined in the afterglow of ion, the women believed that together, they could conquer any storm that life threw their way.
AT-03’s smile grew wider as she watched the gentle rise and fall of Amanda’s and Mary’s chests. Her silver fingers traced the curve of Amanda’s hip, the softness of Mary’s cheek. They were both so beautiful, so alive, and she felt a warmth in her body that she hadn’t felt before. She genuinely cared for them which made her assigned mission pleasurable for she genuinely wanted to help them.
With a silent grace that belied her augmented nature, she disengaged herself from their embrace and slipped out of bed. The silver panties whispered against her skin as she pulled them on, the cold metal-weave a stark contrast to the warmth of the flesh she had just explored. The pair of intruders that were attached to the inside of the garment slipped comfortingly into her twin holes and began to vibrate gently causing the drone to shiver appreciatively. She paused, her eyes lingering on the visor that lay discarded on the bedside table.
It was time to check in, to ensure that all was well within her hive. Carefully, she slipped it on, the world around her coming into focus through the transparent shield. The medical drones were stationary, their screens displaying a myriad of data, their purpose unchanged.
Her controller’s signal was strong, the reassuring pulse a comforting reminder of her own place in this newfound world. She turned and stepped to one side, her eyes lingering on the two figures on the bed. They looked so peaceful, so content.
AT-03 stood motionless as three more drones slipped into the room, their soft footfalls barely audible on the plush carpet. Her visor identified them instantly: two medical drones and her own beloved controller, AT-01. She felt a strange stirring within her at the sight of her team-leader, a feeling she had not felt before. Was it affection?
AT-01’s eyes scanned the scene before her, a smile playing on her lips beneath her opaque visor. “Good work,” she murmured, her voice a soft purr that seemed to resonate within AT-03’s very core. “They are both... receptive.”
She gently stroked AT-03’s cheek with the back of her hand noting the way that the drone reacted to the . You have bonded with them to an unanticipated degree. She purred, a gentle smile playing across her silver lips. The controller sighed. Very well, they are yours to induct I have restructured the whole of our workgroup to facilitate this.
As Controller and Drone kissed ionately, the medical drones approached the bed, their movements precise and efficient. They began to ister the next phase of the treatment, their silver hands moving with a grace that was almost tender. Amanda and Mary lay still, their eyes closed, their bodies relaxed in their intimate embrace.
AT-03 watched, her heart racing with excitement. She had never felt such a strong sense of belonging, of purpose. These humans had accepted her, had allowed her to love them with an intensity she never thought possible.
The medical drones finished their work and retreated to the corner of the room, their screens displaying the results of their ministrations. AT-01 stepped closer, her hand reaching out to brush against AT-03’s cheek once more. The sensation was electric, a jolt of pleasure that surged through her body.
“You have done well,” AT-01 murmured, her voice filled with something that could almost be mistaken for pride. “Your empathy, commitment and skill are a credit to yourself and the whole of Workgroup-AT.”
AT-03 felt a warmth in her chest that she had never known before. “Thank you, Controller.” She said, her voice filled with genuine gratitude. “But I do this because... because I care for them.”
AT-01’s smile grew. “As you should,” she said, her eyes gleaming. “For they will soon be one with us. Our hive is growing.”
The drone and her controller stood there for a moment, their bodies close, sharing a silent bond that transcended their bio-mechanical origins. Then, with a final caress, AT-01 turned to leave, her form disappearing through the doorway.
AT-03 remained, her gaze lingering on Amanda and Mary. The humans had changed her in ways she never thought possible, had awakened feelings within her that she had not been programmed for. But she knew that she would continue to serve, to love, and to learn from them. For they had also shown her what it truly meant to be alive.
With a smile she leaned over the two women and spoke to them. “Listen carefully but do not awake. You will obey my instructions but think them your own idea......”
When she had finished speaking she removed her visor once more and placed it on the little table.
