Sexual Immersion Therapy

Chapter Fourteen

Dee and I followed Lucinda back into the kitchen, and when Dee offered to help with the food preparation we were shooed out onto the deck to be alone together.

We took positions beside one another at the railing, looking out at rooftops and trees. The way the light fell on Dee’s breasts in profile made me thankful that I’d worn relaxed-fit pants.

“You’re taller than I expected,” she said, looking up.

She was cutting right to our being thrust together tonight, no more blindness to the date. “Not too tall, I hope.”

“No, definitely not. Six-one?”

“And a half.”

“I like it. Without the extra half inch, maybe not, so you’re lucky.”

“I do feel lucky right now,” I said, taking in her figure, just a polite sip, and letting her see that. “You’re not at all what someone expects to be paired with on a blind date.”

“Time for a true confession—I kind of cheated. Grace showed me several photos of you, so I knew what I was getting into. Except for your height, that is.”

I smiled, and found myself hoping she liked my dimples the way Carolyn Preston had on my other blind date of the week. Dee smiled back, with teeth so even and white that I thought I should applaud.

She nudged me lightly with an elbow. “Grace must have shown you some photos of me, and told you at least a little bit about me. True?”

“Not exactly. She wouldn’t play fair when it came to photos. I asked, but…”

“Please tell me you’re not disappointed.”

My laugh at the ridiculousness of the comment was genuine. “I kind of guessed you’d be beautiful. She told me that you’re a fellow actress.”

She nodded, not looking at me, but then fixed me directly when she asked, “What else did she say about me? Be honest.”

How to respond? Knowing Grace’s habit of saying all the juicy parts out loud, I didn’t see any benefit to holding back. “She, um… She said you have a great set of boobs.”

Dee gave out a great big laugh. “That’s Grace for you.”

I felt a little more relaxed after that. I couldn’t see where it hurt anything to have the obvious already stated, that Dee was one hell of a busty beauty.

She nudged my elbow again, a playful and intimate gesture that I liked. “Let’s allow our hosts to do all the work, okay? Grace will be mad at us if we don’t know everything there is to know about one another by the time everyone else arrives.”

And there we had our framework, over which little bits of personal information could be presented and dissected as we repositioned ourselves into low chairs, sipping our drinks.

Dee was a sometimes struggling actress, sometimes not, who supplemented her income by being a part-time hostess at an upscale bistro. I was a respected therapist who might be gaining a reputation as a specialist in the treatment of addictive behaviors, and I sometimes toppled over moral cliffs by sticking my invisible penis into the brains of select hotties. But nobody’s perfect, right?

In the middle of gentle flirtation with a beautiful and psychologically healthy woman, all the scheming and underhanded trickery of the past few weeks almost felt like the recent history of someone else.

I kept looking at Dee’s hands, which seemed especially finely made, and remarkably smooth. I thought her skin, overall, had a fine porcelain quality, and at a certain point I remarked upon it.

“Grace tells me you’re twenty-seven, but your skin says you’re barely out of your teens. Help me to understand that.”

This time her smile had a crafty edge to it. “Ask me about that again, later in the night.”

“Sworn to protect the secrets of actresses the world over?”

She gave me a coquettish look. “If you’re lucky, I’ll say more later.”

Could I get lucky tonight? My motor was running and I liked the way she had dangled a mystery in front of my nose, almost binding us with it. We shared more, mostly me getting her to describe the process of memorizing lines and finding a way to deliver them with authenticity. Most of her work was in theater, but she had been in some commercials and indie movies, too.

It was when I followed that up with a question about any desires to work more in feature movies that her eyebrows turned into darker ing clouds, just for an instant.

“I hate flying,” she said. “It’s not even an issue when I get the occasional gig in New York; I take the train. Are you aware how so many shows are filmed on the East Coast now, and Toronto?”

I encouraged her to say more about that, and as I listened to an overview of the film industry setting up shop in Brooklyn and a few other places, I had the sense that she wasn’t telling me something. She emptied the remainder of her sangria as she spoke, her hand gestures showing some kind of underlying nervousness. I figured there must be an off-screen element like a former lover that lurked in the unspoken areas of her story, or something similar that brought an undercurrent of tension.

We had reached the end of that part of the conversation when we heard people arriving almost in a wave, with raised voices of greeting and increased activity in the kitchen. Dee’s glass was empty in her hand and I asked if we should go in for a refill, and to mingle.

“I don’t think I’m going to know many people here,” she said. “Will you stay close, and really be my date tonight?”

“With pleasure,” I said, standing and offering my hand.

She took it, and rose from her chair in a way that brought her several inches closer than necessary, head tilted up almost under my chin. There was a moment of stillness inside me, one of those life-snapshots between heartbeats where you take in far more detail than time should allow. I was aware of Dee smiling with her lips together, and how expertly applied her eye-shadow was. Strawberry scent, probably her shampoo, had entered my nostrils with her closeness, and without even focusing there I could see how the front of her white blouse was stretched taut. Those tits had to be fucking great.

And how about that—this was normal human interaction and attraction with no whiff of hypnotic entanglements. Not that my thoughts didn’t go there—almost like a flash of vision, I pictured Dee lying upon Lucinda’s bed, the party going on as we secreted ourselves behind a locked door. In this momentary fantasy I hypnotized Dee under some pretense, making her need to fuck me with her boobs. It couldn’t have been more than two seconds of thought, but it had enough force to get my cock rising.

The reverie was broken by a flaring of sensitivity in my spine. I knew the sensation; it was the certainty that I was being watched.

The image in my head was Grace, gazing proudly as her two romantic puppets stood closer than was necessary. When I turned my head to the back door, though, it was not Grace’s eyes I looked into, but Mira’s. She was staring at us, not me, and the same low sun that colored Dee’s blouse from white to pink was hot inside the green depths of Mira’s irises, turning them an angry brown.

There was no dramatic blow-up. Mira melted into the throng and Dee and I went inside to refill our glasses, hanging close together as she had requested. Taking a chance I put an arm around her waist, and was rewarded with her body settling in closer to mine, her expression contented or maybe even better than that.

People filtered in and out, and that made us separate. It was becoming a real party in of volume and there were times when I could hear a burst of Mira’s laughter coming from a nearby hallway. Though I wasn’t really trying I couldn’t help being acutely aware of her whereabouts, much as it had been the first night I’d ever seen her, where I’d always been attuned to her position on the large dance floor.

Dee and I were back on the deck with others when I got my first head to foot look at Mira, framed by the sliding patio door, standing right next to Taylor. He was tall and lanky and stiff; she was sheathed in a little beige dress that was refined and elegant, yet revealed anything you wanted to know.

For a few seconds I felt I could barely breathe, the raw physicality of the woman grabbing hold of my balls and squeezing. There was a slit up the side of her dress, revealing a great deal of one of the thighs my head had been between, once upon a time.

Had she been thinking even one bit about pleasing Taylor when choosing to wear such a revealing dress? Or, was this what I’d put into her to always dress sexy for me? I believed the latter; Lucinda probably told her that I would be here. And depending on how ticking time bombs ticked, Mira might even have fantasized about how my eyes would undress her the rest of the way tonight.

“Earth to Michael?” I heard, with another of those elbow nudges, this one more pointed. Dee had obviously seen me staring at Mira, and I felt heat in my face from having been caught. “Not that I can blame you,” she said, sounding almost as transfixed as I’d been. “I don’t know if I’ve ever seen calves like those in my entire life!”

I was sure I hadn’t, but I made a point of gazing into my wineglass, to keep from being rude.

“I work out at a gym and swim a million laps every week,” Dee said in a low voice. “So why do I suddenly feel like I need to hire a trainer? I mean, who has a body like that?”

“Dancers,” I said, which was a feeble response when Mira’s body stood out by a mile even among her fellow performers.

“Please be a dear and tell me I’m not fat or out of shape.”

I almost spit out sangria at that one. “You are about a hundred miles from either, Dee.”

Just then I heard Mira’s giggle, with something in its tone bringing back her little girl cries when I’d tongued her to orgasm that one time. I drained my wineglass without thinking, with enough going in my windpipe that I went into a brief coughing fit. Dee looked concerned for a second or two, then gently patted me on my back as it ed.

“So I am fat,” she said, which made me laugh and got me hacking again.

When I’d recovered, Dee rested her hand on my back and told me that this was the time to ask how she kept her skin looking so young.

“Okay then,” I complied. “How do you keep your skin looking so young?”

“Well, first, that’s my last name. Young.”

I chuckled as I was supposed to, and figured I’d be searching that name online soon, hoping to see some photos of her in a bikini.

“But here’s the real secret. My mother was—still is—a lovely theater actress, and she told me that the parts of her body that have barely aged are her breasts, because they’re kept out of the sun. Even when I was little she had me wear wide straw hats outdoors, and I’ve been careful about sun exposure ever since.”

I nodded. Everyone, including yours truly, had fairly pale skin after a long winter, but I knew I’d end up with a decent tan just from running and general yardwork in the coming months.

“And you know, my mother was right,” Dee added. “Big as they are, it’s still my breasts that are my youngest feature.”

I opened my mouth to react to that, but couldn’t think of anything to say.

She laughed. “This is where a smooth operator says something like, ‘I’m going to need visual evidence of that, ma’am’.”

“Maybe I’m a little slow tonight?” I said with a shrug, and a glance at her chest. I’d just been invited to look, right?

“I believe I’ve managed to make you blush!” Dee said, with an alluring smile that might be a tad wicked. She very deliberately stood straighter, which made her tits thrust out. “Let’s just get this out of the way right now, okay? You already itted that Grace forewarned you about me having big boobs, and they’re real, thank you for not asking. But are they too big for you? Most men love that, but some don’t.”

Either this was flirtation of the third kind, or a dare that even a cock-tease like Mira could learn from. Or, Dee was attracted enough that she was tossing all subtlety aside and making a stand. And it wasn’t lost on me that the change had come right after she’d seen me ogling Mira.

“You could safely put me in the loving it column,” I said, glancing at her chest again. They had to be fucking glorious and I felt like I’d do almost anything to have the experience of them. “You could even place me at the very top of the loving it column.”

She laughed, tossing her hair. “I’m glad, but not surprised. A woman like me develops boobdar, and you were pinging the whole time Lucinda showed us her apartment. Especially in her mirrored room.”

“Whoops.”

She laughed again and turned sideways to me, placing her hands on the deck railing, looking out at the alleyway below and the rooftops beyond. I positioned myself beside her, the two of us leaning forward. I turned my head to see what her breasts did to her blouse in a forward leaning position like this, and she saw that, and let out another little laugh.

“Listen, Michael,” she said in a low voice. “I’m charmed, just in case you can’t read my signals. But I never sleep with anyone on a first date.”

We had our backs to the other partygoers, creating the illusion of a totally private world. “I’ve never even wanted to sleep with anyone on a first date,” I answered. And did I dare go there? “Until now.”

She didn’t speak in return, although I didn’t feel any cooling between us; the opposite, perhaps. We just stood there together, listening to the whir of distant traffic and the hum of conversations from the party behind us. My right hand was resting on the porch railing just inches from hers, and she noticed the same thing at about the same time, and cartoonishly inched hers over so we touched.

I placed my hand on top of hers and she leaned in so her shoulder warmed my arm. Just above a whisper she said, “Grace would never set me up with an axe-murderer, right? I mean, how is it that you’re single?”

“Funny, I’ve been wanting to ask you the same thing. You’ve got beauty and sex appeal to spare, as you must know, on top of being a charmer. So you’re unattached… how?”

“I asked first, but… Here it is. I was in a pretty serious relationship until about five months ago. Workaholism, him, which was a big problem for me. I’d never experienced that before, being in a serious relationship with someone yet spending so much time alone.”

“What did he do?”

“Computer work by day, jazz musician at night. I was the one to break it off. He lives in Seattle now and we’re trying to remain friends, but that isn’t really working. Anyway, after that relationship I didn’t want to rush anything, no rebounding. Grace wanted to set me up with you several weeks ago, but I wasn’t ready and I think you were traveling. But I’m ready now, to try again. Or at least to agree to meet you tonight.”

“Sounds very healthy. The therapist in me approves,” I said, wondering if Grace had been plotting to get me out of my Mira obsession right around the time I went to Zurich.

“And you’re single because…” Dee prodded.

“My story is somewhat like yours. I was in what I thought was a pretty solid relationship, ending at about the same time yours did. She thought we were incompatible in some important ways… Anyway, a career move came along for her that had her relocating, and she took it. We both knew we weren’t going to attempt a long-distance relationship.”

“Can I ask… Incompatible in what ways?”

I sighed. “Maybe there are conversations you postpone until a second or third date.”

She gave my hand a reassuring pat. “It wasn’t the way you were constantly sharpening your axe?”

“No, nothing like that.”

“No regrets about moving on from… What was her name?”

“Joyce. And no, no regrets. I don’t believe it’s an outright failure if you really try with someone and you find that it’s not meant to be forever.”

“And no one since then?”

Just eating the pussy of the married woman with the incredible body that she’d seen me lusting for twenty minutes ago, and an illegal hypnotism-induced tit-job from one of my clients. Oh, and a fling in Zurich, back when I learned the skills to hypnotically misbehave with women. “Grace keeps trying to set me up, but it’s never worked out. I hate blind dates. Until tonight, I guess.”

She gave me a sultry look with a raised eyebrow. “You only guess?”

I reminded myself that she was an actress by profession, and some of the interest I felt coming from her could be exaggerated. I could play at being reserved, enigmatic, but the size of the woman’s tits gave me the courage to go out on a limb.

“I like you, Dee; I think that’s pretty obvious. I figured you’d be pretty; instead, you’re ravishing. And just talking here with you… It’s possible that I’d like you a lot, if we kept at this.”

She smiled at that, her eyes narrowing in a lovely way. “Why don’t you fetch me another glass of sangria? And if I could make a request, please don’t drink too much yourself, because I want you to drive me home later tonight. Grace picked me up and brought me here. I’m sure that was one of her tricks, that you’d need to drive me home. I’m happy about it, now that I’ve met you.”

I agreed to go easy on the drinking, taking her glass and making my way inside. Grace immediately saw me from across the kitchen, beaming a question with her eyes. I communicated back with widened eyes and a subtle thumb’s-up signal.

It was right then that I noticed Mira leaning against the refrigerator, right next to Lucinda. I hadn’t yet spoken to her or even gotten close, in the way you don’t approach a nuclear reactor when you think it has a chance of melting down.

Feeling a chill up my back, I turned from Mira and poured two glasses of sangria, mine only halfway, and brought them out to re my date. The fading light had caused strings of overhead party lights to come on, their amber glow giving additional definition to Dee’s thrusting tits.

“Here’s to a blind date that isn’t so terrible at all,” she said.

I raised my glass but then lowered it. “Here’s to Grace, for even knowing someone as beautiful and charming as you.”

Dee liked the compliment, and our glasses clinked. “Maybe we should go inside and get any mingling duties done? I’ve barely said hello to the birthday girl.”

“We could do that.”

“Don’t feel that you have to stick beside me every minute. If we get separated we can find our way back to each other, and leave together.”

I did stick very close to Dee for a few minutes, and it was during her time in the ladies’ room that I ended up in a conversation with one of the few people at the party already familiar to me—Taylor.

What he wanted to talk about was medical ethics, of all things. He had recently begun to participate in the Doctors Without Borders organization, and would be flying to Ethiopia sometime soon, his very first trip to Africa. Casually, easy as could be, I got him to supply the information most crucial to the invisible devil sitting atop my shoulder—he was leaving within the next two weeks, exact date uncertain, and he would be gone a total of nine days and ten nights. Mira, having responsibilities with the dance company during an especially busy time, would not be accompanying him.

He asked about my practice and I said a few meaningless things, and noticed his eyes following movement heading down the hallway.

“Your date is lovely,” he commented, referring to the inspiring profile view that was Dee and her rack, before she turned to make her way to the kitchen.

“That she is,” I said, iring her shapely ass. It took a couple of seconds for me to absorb a hit of beige beauty hugging the far wall Dee had just ed; it was Mira, regarding me intently with her wine glass poised at her lips. It looked like her eyes were their normal green again, but they were hardly tranquil. They met mine and held on just long enough for me to see naked desire in them.

Taylor saw none of that. He was peering into the drained glass in his hand, as though attempting to decipher how his vodka tonic had been made to disappear.

“Let me get you a refill,” he said, glancing at my nearly emptied glass.

“You take care of yourself, Taylor. I’m trying to go easy tonight.”

I was, and not only because Dee had made it a specific request. There were too many volatile chemicals sharing the same oxygen in this apartment, and it seemed to me that the best course of action would be to take Dee by the hand as soon as possible, pulling her straight to my car.

I had to obey nature’s call first. There were two bathrooms in Lucinda’s apartment, and with the closest one occupied I meandered my way down the little side hall between the bedrooms. I positioned myself and quietly waited for that door to open; when it did I went in and locked the door, relieved to relieve myself of the night’s sangria. Some impatient soul tried to push the door open right before I flushed, and I called out a “Just a sec!”, which might have been drowned by the roar of the bowl.

The lock was a simple hook and loop. The instant I lifted it the door pushed open, with enough force that I was knocked back. Mira swept in, and just like that the small bathroom was filled to overflowing with desire and intensity. She locked the door behind her and leaned her back against it, breathing as though she’d run a mile to get here.

“Don’t even think of falling in love with her!”

Before I could reply she rushed in and pressed into me with a lowered hand, feeling for pay dirt through my pants. If she wanted to find an erection, her hungry demeanor and the fuck-me dress had produced one. I cupped her ass as she leaned in tighter for a ionate kiss, her tongue flicking like an antenna searching the parameters of its new home.

There was no art to this kissing; it was pure hungry probing. The hand on my crotch moved around, pressing and assessing, so much braver than when she’d touched me weeks before. I couldn’t get at Mira’s tits without removing her dress so I just grabbed and squeezed through cloth, feeling the mass of her left boob through silk and bra.

“Oh Michael!” she vented, pushing herself away and back to the door, her gazed locked onto the bulge in my pants. I was throbbing and she made a small sound that expressed a kind of helplessness. “Let me see it?” she said, eyes hopeful.

“Now? That’s crazy!”

“Just a peek, please! It’s like… I haven’t even seen it but I know I’m going to love it!”

I knew that, too, but said, “We can’t, not here like this.”

“I was being so good with him!” she answered back. “But now I know it’s useless! I need… Oh God, I have to have you!”

It wasn’t easy but I got a grip, not being the hypnotized one. “Get back out there and be with Taylor!” I urged.

“I don’t even want to talk about him.”

“We’ll be talking to attorneys if you don’t get back out there!”

Mira was crazy with lust but she wasn’t crazy, perhaps because I’d helped her with that. “Leave me the key to your house,” she said. “I’ll pick it up tomorrow and… I don’t care if she does have those boobs, you have to stay unattached!”

Mira being married, the demand was nonsensical. Mira being hypnotically tethered to my erection, I knew exactly where she was coming from.

She met my eyes. “I mean it, you’re mine! I’ll make it worth the wait, I promise!”

“You look disheveled,” I said. In truth she looked like one of the world’s most beautiful women in a state of pre-fuck.

She took a series of deep breaths and did a little something to her untamable hair that seemed to make no difference at all, but that obviously satisfied her nerves. “Stay in here a good minute after I leave, okay?”

“What if someone’s already waiting outside?” I said, thinking of her husband, downing his booze.

Mira already had the door opened, peeking out. I heard her say something unintelligible and then Lucinda was there entering the bathroom, regarded me with raised eyebrows.

“Is that your idea of a birthday present?” she said, staring at the bulge in my pants. The khakis were bravely trying to do their job of concealing my hard-on, but in Mira’s wake…

If I had a magic spell for instantly making an erection go away, I might have used it right then. “I think I this scene from a Marx Brothers movie,” I mumbled, trying to dull my embarrassment.

“Dick Soup?” she didn’t miss a beat. “Mira sure is one lethal cock-tease. I mean, just look at you!”

“I, um…” Nothing clever came and I just kept my mouth shut.

She closed the door and crossed her arms. “Don’t get me wrong, okay? It looks like you’ve got quite the stallion there and I can’t blame you for trying. But Mira is never going to put out. You get that, right?”

Interestingly, there was no sternness in her expression, no condemnation. She looked at me pityingly, as though just realizing that I wasn’t as intelligent as she’d assumed.

“Michael, I’m clued-in even if you aren’t. Mira got you to do her bidding, right? She talked you into hypnotizing her into wanting her husband more?”

“Yes,” I said, keeping things simple.

“That was my idea, by the way, and the fact that she asked you to augment her hubby satisfaction should tell you something about her real desires. The rest of her act is pure cock-teasing—you must be able to see that, right? And it’s plain silly that you’d chase married tail when a dish like Dee is waiting out there. I can read women and Dee is into you. She’s available and desirable as get-all, and a kind, intelligent man like you should be nice to her while ditching any useless fantasies about Mira.”

“That’s great advice,” I said, making as if to exit.

Lucinda put a hand on my chest. “You might want to take a few deep breaths before parading around in good company.”

She was right. I tried to think boring thoughts and asked,“How do I make my escape without things looking strange? The two of us in here…”

“Hey, I’m the birthday girl and I can do any fucking thing I want. Maybe you and I had a quickie and there it is.”

Before I could respond she stepped in close and put a hand behind my head, and rose high on her toes and kissed me, tenderly. Her tongue, another tongue, was there in my mouth and my tongue responded instinctually, dancing with hers.

Then sense or self-preservation kicked in and I backed off, my hands up defensively. “What, exactly, was that?”

“Reverse birthday present. I’ve been wanting to thank you somehow ever since… I can’t betray Grace, so don’t worry about that. But I have thought about you, me... If I could swing that door open for Grace even a little bit, getting her to tip-toe into the bi-zone with me…”

My cock felt confused. “Then what?” I asked, heart beating fast.

“I know you’d go completely nuts over Grace’s boobs—they’re just fucking fantastic. I haven’t swung your way in two years, but I give great head, and… Seriously, I run on a more powerful motor than I had back then, and all that extra horsepower gets a girl to wondering.”

I was wondering, too, whether more than a tiny shred of this was authentic Lucinda, or if it was all about her being juiced on immersion steroids.

“Still, good luck with Dee tonight,” she said, opening the door to usher me out.

There were two male dancers awaiting the facilities and they both looked at me as though I was fine furniture to be appraised.

Lucinda laughed. “Sorry, not a gay bone in his body!” Then, to me: “Clear your head and go to your woman, okay? The unmarried one.”

That was great advice and I intended to follow it. If Mira, beginning to come apart with cascading hypnotic needs, would let me.
