Title: Pull a Card

Chapter 1: The Game

“You’re not my father, and … hell for sure, you’re not my mother. I’m eighteen years old, and I know what I’m fucking doing,” Cian screamed while puffing his chest.

“If you knew what you were doing, you wouldn’t have all this … fat,” Marco pushed a finger at his belly. “You spend the whole day in your room, don’t exercise, don’t go out, don’t interact.”

“I’m at the age where I need to study for college. I don’t need your opinion,” Cian shot back.

Cian’s jaw tightened. “I’m studying for college, asshole. I don’t need your shitty opinion.” His voice was dripping with barely restrained rage.

Each of them was speaking louder than the other, to the point of nearly jumping at each other’s throats. Just as it seemed they would fight, Marco’s phone blared with new messages.

“We’re not done, but I have to go to work,” Marco announced, heading down the stairs.

“We’re done. Marco, stay the fucking hell out of my life,” Cian said harshly.

In the living room, Mary stood looking at her hands, listening to her son and husband argue. She didn’t seem to have a moment to interject in their conversation.

But this wasn’t new. Mary had always been like this. In this marriage and her previous one. However, this time, her children were struggling to adapt to her new husband, especially with Marco trying to make all the decisions.

“If you don’t want me involved, just move out,” Marco threw out his final jab before leaving.

But that threat was empty, and everyone knew it. The house had been inherited from Cian’s father, so both Cian and his sister Ciara could live there as they pleased. Yet Marco always acted like he was in charge.

“Humph,” Cian returned to his room, slamming the door shut.

All Cian wanted was to be free of Marco. Yes, he was overweight, but not excessively, and not because he didn’t care; it was from studying so much. Obviously, this didn’t align with what Marco thought was best for his future.

Cian wanted to work in tech, while Marco thought law was better. The two clashed constantly over this.

To make matters worse, the relationship between Cian and Mary was deteriorating more and more due to his mother’s inability to take a stand.

But for Ciara, his twin sister, and Luna, his older step-sister, everything was fine. Their parents were entirely focused on their son, completely forgetting to meddle in their lives.

Luna didn’t care much. She barely spent time at home. At twenty, she was in her second year of law school, following in her father’s footsteps.

As for Ciara, she wanted to be a doctor, another profession that had Marco’s blessing. Plus, even though she studied as much as Cian, for some reason, all the weight she gained went to her breasts, making her even more attractive.

That left Cian to fight for his independence.

Lying on his bed, Cian tried to cool off. But not even five minutes had ed before someone knocked lightly on his door.

“Cian,” he could tell it was Mary. “Can we talk?”

He cracked the door open. Mary stood there, her wrapped in a thin blouse that clung to her curves. “What the fuck do you want?” he said bluntly.

“Just to talk,” Mary pleaded, her eyes wide.

“What for? In the end, you never make any choices. Next time, send Marco to talk to me,” Cian said, his voice laced with anger.

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry, baby,” Mary said, looking into his eyes. “I promise. I’ll talk to him about stopping. I promise.”

“I’ll believe it when I see it,” Cian said, narrowing his eyes.

“Tonight, after dinner,” she insisted, her voice soft but urgent. “Let’s do it like we used to, Cian. You pick a game, we play, make peace… and I’ll handle Marco.” Mary explained.

“Fine,” Cian agreed, though still with his doubts.

Mary offered a faint smile, her body lingering a moment too long before she turned and slipped out of his doorway.

Cian went back to his bed, trying to rest.

Playing board games was one of the traditions they’d had since childhood, especially at night after dinner. But after his father ed away and Marco ed the family, this tradition faded, especially since Marco couldn’t play anything that lasted more than a few minutes.

“No way that piece of shit would play anything I’ve got here,” Cian muttered, getting up from his bed. “I’ll have to get something simpler, maybe a card game.”

Leaving his room and heading out of the house, Cian went to an old shop he used to visit with his father to buy games. It was one of the few stores in their small town that still focused only in selling board games.

The shopkeeper was an old lady who had known Cian since he was a child. As soon as he walked through the door, the bell gave a soft jingle, and the old lady emerged from behind the counter.

“Young Cian! To what do I owe the pleasure?” the old lady asked.

“Hi, Grandma!” Cian still didn’t know her name but had nicknamed her Grandma. “I need a really simple game for my bastard stepdad to play.”

“Simple, so something with cards. Should it be fun?” the old lady asked.

“It can be fun. My mom wants it to bring the family closer. You wouldn’t happen to have anything to send my stepdad packing, would you?” Cian said, laughing darkly.

“Maybe, maybe,” the old lady replied, chuckling back.

She walked to one of the older shelves and picked up a small game. It looked like just a deck of cards. “Try this one. I think it’ll please everyone.”

“Pull a Card,” Cian read the cover, noticing the game was quite old, likely from the 60s based on the artwork. “Must be a classic.”

“Thanks, Grandma,” Cian said, hugging the old lady before leaving.

“Dinner’s ready,” Mary announced, waking Cian from a nap.

His face still drooling from sleeping on his books and slightly creased, he stretched and headed downstairs.

At the dining table, Mary was already seated at one end.

At the dining table, Mary sat at one end. Her golden hair cascaded over her shoulders. The faint lines of age were finally showing on her face. However, it only enhanced her sultry charm. Her body, sculpted by relentless workouts, was a masterpiece of curves, save for a soft, tantalizing roll here and there. Her tight blouse hugged her heavy breasts, the fabric straining just enough to tease the imagination.

Next to her sat Ciara, Cian’s twin sister, though the only thing they had in common was the red hair they inherited from their father. Ciara was taller and more athletic than her brother, her lush breasts and jaw-dropping ass a constant distraction in Cian’s mind.

Of course, Ciara wasn’t the only thing going in Cian’s mind. There was also Luna, their step-sister with her tanned skin and bikini line. She wasn’t as good in the Breast Department. However, the way her ass curved under those tan lines was enough to make Cian’s pulse race and cock awake.

Cian slid next to Ciara, waiting for dinner to be served.

“Luna’s working late, and Marco’s got some last-minute trip. He’s not coming back tonight,” Mary announced.

“Should we cancel the game?” Ciara asked, sounding slightly disappointed.

“It’s a new game; we can play just the three of us,” Cian explained. “If there are rules, we can explain them to the others later.”

Mary, also a bit bummed at the thought of canceling, agreed. “Alright, let’s test it.”

After the three finished eating, they moved to a smaller table in the living room. Cian placed the game on the table, carefully opening the box.

“It looks really old,” Ciara commented, looking at the illustrations on the cover.

“Yeah, I think it’s from the sixties or something,” Cian said.

Ciara pulled out the single-page manual and began reading to the three of them. “Pull a Card is a simple family game. You cannot disobey the card you draw.”

“Got it,” Mary and Cian replied.

“There are three types of cards: punishments, rewards, and truth cards. Shuffle, draw, and play,” Ciara said, looking confused as she finished. “I think it’s best to just start. It seems pretty easy.”

Cian quickly shuffled and placed the deck in the center of the table.

“Here we go,” Mary said before drawing the first card. “Truth Card: Everyone at the table must share something the others don’t know about them that makes them embarrassed.”

“Oh! It’s that kind of game. Seems easy,” Cian commented.

Mary looked at him, crossing her arms. “Then you start, Mr. Big Shot.”

Cian took a deep breath and scratched the back of his neck. “Okay… When I was little, I was so scared of thunder that I’d hide in the closet… and bring an umbrella with me! Like that would protect me.”

“So that’s why I found umbrellas in your closet!” Mary realized.

Ciara was laughing the whole time before realizing it was her turn. “I… well… I still sleep with my teddy bear hidden under my pillow.”

“I already knew that. Who do you think washes it?” Mary said.

“I didn’t know, so I think it counts,” Cian said, laughing.

Both siblings looked at Mary, waiting.

Mary sighed and looked down, embarrassed. “Alright… When I was in school, I had trouble getting out of bed after sleeping. Until I was twelve, I wet the bed.”

The two froze before bursting into laughter, and for a moment, they all looked at each other, complicit, with the kind of embarrassment you only share with those you love deeply.

“I think this kind of game deserves some booze,” Ciara commented.

“I don’t know,” Mary said, hesitant to offer them anything. She still saw them as her babies.

“Come on, Mom, it’s no big deal,” Cian encouraged.

“Alright. Just a little wine,” Mary said, getting up and returning with three glasses of wine.

“Who’s next?” Ciara asked.

“I think it’s me,” Cian said, drawing the next card. “Punishment Card…”

“What does it say?” Ciara asked.

“I think it’s a bit much. Maybe I should draw another,” Cian said.

“No way, tell us the punishment,” Ciara said excitedly.

“Strip to your underwear and go out to the street,” Cian said.

Mary and Ciara burst out laughing nervously.

“Tough luck. But you have to do it,” Ciara said. “It’s still pretty mild.”

Cian put his hand to his flushed face before finally standing up.

Ciara and Mary walked to a window to see what he’d do.

Cian took of his shirt and shorts, quickly opened the door, ran to the street, and came back without looking twice.

“Done,” he said, slamming the door and sighing.

“Lucky. No one was out at this hour,” Ciara commented.

Mary looked down, embarrassed but also laughing.

Cian quickly put his shorts back on. “Your turn now. Let’s see if you like it.”

Ciara drew the next card, but her face immediately turned red. With a slight cough, she began reading. “Truth Card: Everyone at the table must share how their first time was.”

“First time, like first kiss?” Mary asked nervously, her face already flushed.

“No way, it’s gotta be the first time having sex,” Cian said, only realizing what he’d said after it came out of his mouth.

“I-I’ve never had,” Ciara said, embarrassed.

Cian’s jaw dropped. Unlike him, his sister wasn’t a nerd. She was popular at school, and he knew she’d had a few boyfriends over the years.

‘Is she lying?’ Cian wondered but chose not to say anything.

“M-my first time… was in the college dorm. With Lucy, my best friend. At the time, she convinced me to try it with a woman,” Mary confessed before burying her face in her hands.

Cian and Ciara’s jaws dropped at the confession, especially since they still knew Lucy. They both called her Aunt Lucy, as she was practically family.

‘Is it the wine?’ both wondered.

‘I’d better lie about mine,’ Cian thought, preparing to say he’d never had sex.

“My first experience was last year with a classmate from chemistry. She wanted to get back at her boyfriend and hooked up with me,” Cian said, unable to stop the words from pouring out. He wanted to lie, but it felt impossible to control.

‘This is definitely not the wine,’ he thought, confused. ‘Maybe we should stop.’ The thought crossed his mind, but before he could say anything, Mary had already drawn a card.

“Punishment Card: Each player at the table must remove one piece of clothing,” Mary coughed as she finished reading. “Um, maybe we don’t have to follow every card?”

“Now you want to back out?” Ciara teased, adding fuel to the fire. “What are you wearing under that apron?”

Ciara promptly raised her hands and pulled off her t-shirt, revealing a black lacy bra that was struggling to contain her breasts.

Cian didn’t move, thinking taking off his shirt would be enough. But he felt his body heating up and up until, on its own, he stood and removed his shorts, standing in just his underwear in front of his sister and mother.

Mary was still shocked by everything happening but followed the game’s rules. Taking off her shirt, she was left in just an apron and jeans, revealing a pink lace bra.

“Mom, who were you saving those weapons for?” Ciara teased.

Cian didn’t know where to look but couldn’t help eyeing both of their breasts. While distracted, his hand moved and drew another card.

“What’s it say?” Ciara asked excitedly.

“Reward Card,” Cian began reading. “Receive a kiss from each player.”

‘Phew, that’s easier,’ Cian thought, turning to his sister and expecting a kiss on the cheek.

But Ciara’s hands cupped his face as her lips crashed into his, a deep, hungry kiss that set his blood on fire. Her tongue explored his mouth, teasing and claiming, leaving them both breathless when she finally pulled away. Her cheeks were flushed, but her eyes burned with no hint of regret.

Cian fought to hide the throbbing cock straining against his boxers as Mary took Ciara’s place.

Mary’s approach was slower, taking time to look deep into his eyes. When their lips met, the kiss was electric, her tongue dancing with his in a way that drowned out the alarms screaming in his mind.

When they parted, both women were flushed, their embarrassed smiles tinged with a shared, wicked thrill.

‘Something’s seriously fucked with this game,’ Cian thought.

“I-I think we’ve had enough,” he stammered. “We know the rules. Let’s… continue tomorrow.”
