Mandy Moo: The Scoop That Swallowed Her Whole

Chapter Four

The Transformation

The office door opened and Cole appeared, unhurried and satisfied as a man who has just confirmed a prediction he had high confidence in all along. Jake put his camera down on the desk—he had been holding it without having made a conscious decision to pick it up—and looked at Cole with a face that was doing several incompatible things at once.

“What did you do to me in here?” Jake asked. The question was more genuine than accusatory. He genuinely wanted to know, because whatever had happened in the preceding twenty minutes while he’d been in this small amber-lit office reviewing Cole’s technical specifications and listening to the sounds from the building beyond the partition, something had shifted in him that he hadn’t chosen and couldn’t entirely for.

“Showed you the truth,” Cole replied with an ease that suggested he had answered this question before and found it a reasonable one. “That’s all anyone can do for anyone. Now let’s go see how Mandy’s getting on.”

They found her at the barn entrance, waiting. Jake crossed the distance between them quickly, his eyes moving over her with the automatic assessment of someone checking for injury or distress—a habit formed through years of fieldwork in situations where the people he was with sometimes came out of experiences in worse shape than they’d gone in.

What he saw stopped him in his tracks.

Mandy was standing in the amber light of the barn’s entrance, her arms slightly away from her sides, her posture relaxed in a way that was entirely unlike her normal bearing—she was, in every professional context Jake had ever known her, a compact and purposeful presence, carrying her body with the barely contained forward momentum of someone who was always en route to the next thing. But this Mandy was still. Her emerald eyes, when they found his, were hazy and warm, lit with a heat that had replaced the familiar mischief-and-determination combination with something simpler and deeper and considerably harder to look at without feeling it yourself. Her lips were parted slightly. Her cheeks were flushed with a colour that rose from her throat and went all the way up. And her blouse—

Her blouse was losing a structural argument with her body. The buttons that remained were each doing the work of three, the fabric stretched taut between them in diamond-shaped gaps that exposed the lace of her bra beneath, and even the bra, Jake could see, was in no better position than the blouse. Her breasts were simply, dramatically, unmistakably larger than they had been an hour ago.

“Mandy,” Jake said carefully, “are you okay? You look—” He searched for the word and found only: “out of it.”

Mandy’s lips curved. The smile was slow and satisfied and completely unlike any smile Jake had ever seen on her face before, and he had worked with her for three years and had catalogued most of her expressions. “Never better,” she said. Her voice was lower than usual, warmer, with a faint rasp at the edges. “I feel incredible, Jake. So warm. So full.” She glanced down at herself, following his eyes to her straining blouse, and produced a small, delighted laugh. “Oh, these old things?” She cupped her breasts in both hands—unselfconsciously, easily, as though the action were entirely natural—and her expression shifted briefly into something that was part pleasure and part genuine wonder. “They just needed a little encouragement.”

Jake frowned. His journalistic instincts were fully engaged now, pushing back against whatever the office and Cole’s conversation had begun to do to him. “Mandy, what happened in there? What did they give you?”

Cole stepped between them—not aggressively, but with the clear authority of a man managing a situation he has managed before and is confident he can manage now. “As you can see,” he said, addressing Jake in the calm, explanatory tone of a tour guide, “Mandy is experiencing the initial effects of the product. The transformation has begun. It’s a natural process. Nothing has been done to her that she didn’t, in some meaningful sense, choose.”

Jake’s frown deepened. He raised his camera—and here his training was absolute, operating below the level of deliberate thought: when in doubt, document. “I need to capture this. The viewers need to see what’s actually happening here.”

Mandy turned toward the barn without being invited, and Jake followed, and Cole followed Jake, and as they ed through the door into the full warm amber light and the sweet heavy air of the barn interior, Jake’s breath caught for half a second before his eye found the viewfinder.

Through the lens, the barn organised itself into composition—the rows of milking stations, the women in their states of glowing, milk-leaking bliss, the tubing, the machinery, the extraordinary collective warmth of the scene. Jake was good enough to know that what he was looking at was extraordinary, and experienced enough to know that extraordinary was the enemy of clear thinking, and disciplined enough to keep the camera steady regardless of both.

Cole stepped into frame, turning to address the lens with the ease of someone who had clearly done media before. “As you can see, our dairy is staffed by women who have volunteered to become part of our herd. They have found, here, a fulfilment and a sense of purpose that the outside world was unable to provide them. They are cared for, cherished, valued in a way that is entirely commensurate with what they offer us.” He turned to look at Mandy, who was standing beside Jake and looking at the nearest milking station not with the journalist’s analytical assessment but with something that was closer to recognition, to longing. “You,” Cole said to her, gently, “would make an exceptional addition.”

The camera’s automatic focus tracked to Mandy’s face. In the viewfinder, Jake watched her expression clearly: the parted lips, the dilated eyes, the flush that deepened from her cheeks to her throat at Cole’s words. She breathed in deeply, slowly, filling her lungs with the barn’s sweet air, and something in her face resolved.

“Oh yes,” she breathed.

Jake lowered the camera. “Mandy.” His voice was flat with controlled alarm. “Are you serious?”

Mandy turned to look at him. The haze in her eyes was real and deep and not performing itself. “For the story,” she said. The words had the quality of a phrase being deployed as a cover for something that had very little to do with its stated purpose, and both of them knew it.

Jake stood still for a moment. He was not a man who made decisions lightly or recklessly, but he also understood, in this precise moment, that the decision he made in the next thirty seconds was going to define something significant. He raised the camera again. His hands were steady.

“Okay,” he said quietly. “For the story.”

Cole led Mandy toward an empty milking station at the far end of the barn—the one nearest the south wall, where the light was warmest and the air was most saturated with the complex sweet scent. The station was padded with a dark leather cushioning that had been wiped clean and was slightly warm to the touch. The milking apparatus above it gleamed softly in the amber light.

“If you’re going to give your viewers the authentic experience,” Cole said to Mandy, with a matter-of-fact calm that somehow made the request feel reasonable, “you’ll need to disrobe.”

Mandy did not hesitate. And this was the thing that Jake, watching through his viewfinder, found most significant: not the action itself but the complete absence of any internal negotiation visible in her face before she took it. She reached for the remaining buttons of her blouse and undid them with the same ease she might have brought to removing a jacket, and the blouse fell open to reveal breasts that had clearly undergone extraordinary changes since morning. They were full and round and very heavy, straining against a bra that had been, when she put it on that morning, perfectly adequate for a different body. The bra’s clasp released with an audible snap when she reached behind her, and her breasts swung free, and even in this moment—even with the camera running, even with Jake watching, even with Cole and the other women watching—the expression on Mandy’s face as the pressure of the too-small cups was released was one of pure, unguarded relief.

She removed the remainder of her clothes with the same efficient ease. Her tros. Her shoes. The small gold earrings she always wore on location. She placed all of it in a neat pile on the floor at the foot of the station, and stood naked in the amber light, and the camera took in what Jake’s own eyes were taking in: the new fullness of her hips, the extraordinary weight and size of her breasts with their darkened, engorged nipples, the high colour in her cheeks, and the gleam of arousal visible between her thighs that left absolutely no ambiguity about what her body wanted.

She climbed onto the milking station and positioned herself on hands and knees on the padded platform with a naturalness that suggested her body had already received instructions on exactly how this was done. Cole attached the soft silicone milking cups to her nipples with practiced, impersonal efficiency, then guided her wrists into the padded s at the front of the machine, which closed around them with a soft click. She was secured. Not uncomfortably—the restraints were designed for this, shaped for a woman’s wrists, padded at every point of —but secured nonetheless, and the camera, moving slowly around the station as Jake found his angles, recorded every detail.

Cole reached up and engaged the machine.

The hum deepened. The suction engaged. The milking cups drew on Mandy’s nipples with a rhythmic, insistent pull that was perfectly calibrated—strong enough to begin extraction, tuned precisely to the frequency that human physiology responds to most completely. Mandy’s back arched. Her head dropped. The cry she made was not pain. It was not even the polite, restrained vocalisation of pleasure. It was the raw, involuntary sound of a body receiving exactly what it had been demanding for the preceding hour, and it rang through the warm air of the barn with a clarity and honesty that silenced everything else for a moment.

“Oh God,” she moaned, her hips already beginning to move in small, desperate circles, seeking friction that wasn’t there. “Yes. Please. Someone—I need—”

The camera held her face. Jake held the camera.
