An Eldritch Pact
Chapter 02
By Nightfuel
Karl put his hands around Jessica’s hips, holding onto her as she got more comfortably settled on his lap. She linked her arms around his neck, smirking confidently into his face. Jessica arched her back, brushing her chest up against Karl’s, and kissed him playfully on the lips.
“Isn’t it better if we pull in the same direction, baby?”
“Jessica …”
Karl cleared his throat, trying to concentrate. It was hard — and that wasn’t just a figure of speech. Jessica was subtly moving her hips, grinding her panty-covered crotch over the bulge in his pants. It wasn’t just that Karl was having trouble resisting his girlfriend’s charms. There was something else going on.
Normally when Karl was getting into it with a woman, he took his time. Going through all the moves, making sure that the girl he was with enjoyed herself. Karl knew what he was doing — even if his first girlfriend had teasingly told him that he made love like he was going through a checklist. He hadn’t minded — he knew it worked, and he allowed himself to feel a little smug every time he made a woman climax. Karl had good self-control … but not in this instance.
Karl eyed the bottle of wine that he had blamed for his throbbing head. Had there been something in it for real? Because Karl — disciplined, self-controlled Karl — felt like he was on the verge of grabbing his slight girlfriend, tossing her down onto the floor, and just fucking the absolute shit out of her.
Jessica’s self-satisfied smile widened as she saw Karl shiver. She tilted her head, nipping at his earlobe. Her hot breath tickling his skin.
“That’s it. You want me, don’t you, baby? I know what you need, what’s good for you. The same way I know what the best decision is for this place.”
Karl’s hands clenched behind her back. Then he wrapped his arms around Jessica’s waist, hugging her tightly into him.
Jessica let out a low chuckle, dark and rich. Pleased. She thrust her hips forward, grinding against the hard outline of her boyfriend’s dick.
“Mmm. Someone’s eager, aren’t they? Fuck, you feel so damn hard tonight, baby.”
Jessica reached down between them, skilfully fishing Karl’s engorged shaft out of his pants. She wrapped her fingers around him, stroking him with one hand while she ran her fingers through his hair with the other.
“You agree with me, don’t you, Karl. You know I’m right. And don’t think I won’t look after you when you make good decisions. The right decisions. Because you know how good I can be to you …”
Karl panted, burying his face in the crook of Jessica’s neck. He breathed her scent in, rubbing his face from side to side. His head was pounding even harder, a throbbing at his temples that was … actually not that painful? It felt like it should be — like Karl should be running for something to take the edge off of the mother of all migraines. But it didn’t hurt. Instead, Karl was filled with a sense of certainty. A sense of power. Jessica was a slender and warm weight in his lap. Familiar, albeit sexy as hell. He knew her, inside and out. But instead of being content in letting his girlfriend take the lead — instead of just following along — Karl burned for something else.
Karl wanted to fuck her like he had never fucked anyone before. He wanted to hear her scream in ecstasy as he claimed her. To drive into her head a craving for him that would never go away.
“Fucking hell, what …”
Jess laughed softly, a throaty chortle. Thinking that the strange expression on her boyfriend’s face was due to her actions.
“You haven’t seen anything yet, baby. Let me give you a reward for being such a good boy …”
Jess let go of Karl’s dick, raising her hips up. She hooked her finger through the crotch of her panties, pulling them to one side. Jess bit her bottom lip as she lowered herself, the head of Karl’s dick parting the wet lips of her pussy. As she started to impale herself on the first few inches, Jess moaned — then frowned, surprised and annoyed at herself for moaning. She forced herself to smile through gritted teeth at Karl, as she sank deeper onto his shaft.
“Damn, you feel a lot harder than usual ... and it feels goo — aaah!”
Jess blushed as a tremble of pleasure ran through her body. When Karl moved his hands down to grip her ass, digging his fingers hard into the firm flesh of her backside, Jessica tilted her head back — closing her eyes tight. She dropped her hips the remaining distance down, taking all of Karl’s dick into her with one sudden move.
“T-there. Doesn’t that f-feel good, baby?”
Jessica panted, her smile twitching uncontrollably as she tried to look confident and in control.
Karl didn’t answer her. He stared up into her pretty face, feeling like he could see all the fault-lines in her very soul. Like he knew her wants and needs. Her motivations clear as day. The rising pleasure in her body was obvious to him — an answer to the burning lust that was building within Karl. He had never felt this horny before. It drove all reason out of his head — made him forget all his questions as to what was going on. There was only desire left.
Staring into his girlfriend’s flushed face, Karl tightened his grip on her ass. He lifted Jess up bodily, stopping when just the head of his dick remained inside of her … and then he pulled her back down onto him.
Jessica let out a strangled squeal, throwing her head back wildly, and shuddered. She looked down at Karl, her eyes glittering.
“W-what’s got into you? Are you feeling — hnngh!”
Karl had lifted her up and dropped her again. He felt like his blood was boiling — he needed this so badly. He needed to show Jessica that she wasn’t in control. He was! He needed to show her that if she wanted to play this game it wouldn’t go the way she thought.
Jessica tried though. She put her hands on Karl’s shoulders, bracing herself. She was panting hard, beads of sweat on her forehead. Jess gave Karl a quavering smile, and she started to roll her hips sensuously. Riding him as best she could.
“J-just lay back and let me do the work, baby. Yeah, that’s it — you do what I want with this place and we could be doing this all the time. We could travel. Picture it. Us, alone on a beach somewhere. I’d ride you just like this, and we —”
Karl reached up and cupped the back of Jessica’s head. He pulled her down to him, kissing her deeply. At the same time he started to thrust upwards in time with her riding of him. He was being forceful enough that his slender girlfriend started bouncing up and down on his lap, his thrusts propelling her upwards.
“O-oh f-fuck!”
Jessica wailed as she started holding onto Karl for dear life. He was unwavering as he fucked her. Lifting and lowering her on his dick. Pumping into her. Karl lost himself in the action. Time had no meaning — he had no idea how long he fucked her for.
Karl only came back to himself when he felt his girlfriend come. Her inner walls clenched and spasmed around the hard shaft pistoning relentlessly in and out of her. Jessica writhed, her body shuddering uncoordinatedly as she climaxed. Her eyes rolled back in her head, and her mouth hung open. She collapsed bonelessly against Karl’s chest, limply laying there as he continued to thrust up into her. Spasms, aftershocks of pleasure, made her twitch sporadically.
The driving need hadn’t left Karl. He stood up, cradling Jess in his arms, his dick still buried inside of her. Karl started to walk up the stairs to the main bedroom, the pounding in his head reaching a crescendo. He felt like he could go on forever.
Karl stepped outside and took a deep breath. The cool air shocked him wide awake and he shivered involuntarily. It was early morning, and Karl could see tendrils of mist weaving amongst the trees. For a second he considered going back inside for a heavier duty coat, but decided against it. The hoodie he had taken back from Jess would do. He would soon warm up.
Last night had been … fucking weird. After Karl had carried his girlfriend to bed, he had fucked her for what seemed like hours. He had been insatiable. In the end, Jessica had been whimpering, begging for mercy. Pleading with him to stop … but then her pleasure would build again, and she changed her tune. She had clung to him, desperately begging Karl to keep fucking her.
It had been wild. Amazing.
Karl had had no idea what time he had eventually gone to bed. All he knew was that Jessica hadn’t stirred once after he had finally let her fall asleep. Karl had tried to wake up her up this morning, intending on asking her if she wanted breakfast, or at least a coffee, but his girlfriend had barely stirred. Completely dead to the world. Karl had left Jessica a note, and then left her to rest.
Karl started walking briskly along the the path that ran parallel to the main road. Even on such a cold morning there were people up and about. Karl found himself nodding at people as he walked. They looked at him curiously, no doubt wondering who he was. But they seemed easy-going and friendly for all that.
As he walked, Karl found himself thinking back about the night before. Weird. It had been really weird. He’d never done anything like that before — and Jess had certainly never acted in that manner. She’d never orgasmed that hard before either. Jessica enjoyed sex, but never to that extent. The sensation Karl had felt as well … he had felt bolder. Like he was completely sure that there was no chance of his girlfriend saying ‘no’ to him.
“And she even shut up about me selling the place …”
Karl shook his head in faint disbelief. He hadn’t understood what had come over him. He’d been filled with such need — Karl didn’t think he would have stopped for anything. And he hadn’t.
“Definitely a personal record. I should just be happy about it — it was weird, yeah. But it’s not like it’s that weird.”
Karl paused on his walk. He took a deep breath, dispelling all the far-fetched thoughts running through his head. So he’d somehow manage to fuck Jessica into blissed-out coma. So what? Jess was fucking hot, and she’d come onto him pretty strong last night. Karl had been tired, stressed out from the last few months. It hadn’t been easy, organising everything he needed long distance. So he’d cut loose after finally getting up here and seeing his new house — that was understandable. On top of that, Jess had been snippy with him for the last few weeks leading up to their trip here. They hadn’t had sex at all during that time. He’d been pent up. Yeah, that was it.
Karl took another breath, already feeling better. And it was a beautiful morning. The air was crisp and cool—a pleasant sharpness in his lungs every time he breathed in. There were no cars about as yet, and everything seemed quiet. The only movement being the occasional person walking by, and a lively breeze amongst the trees. And everyone here seemed so friendly! They all waved, even if they had no idea who he was.
Karl turned on the spot, taking everything in. Yeah, he could really get used to a place like this. It called to him so strongly that he figured it must be the result of memories from his childhood. It must be so peaceful to live here. Everyone knowing everyone else. Everyone greeting each other and smiling when they saw each other —
Karl blinked.
He’d nearly missed it, but standing amongst the trees — her figure almost lost amongst the black and white trunks — was a woman. She had long dark hair, strands of which were blown about her face in the morning breeze. She was wearing a long dark coat, wrapped tightly around herself. She was some distance away from Karl, and he was a little confused as to what she was doing. He raised a hand hesitantly, and waved at her.
The woman didn’t react. She was staring right at him.
Karl glanced over his shoulder, feeling uneasy for some reason. He thought that she might be looking at someone behind him, but they were both the only people in sight for the moment.
The woman was quite beautiful, but there was an intensity to her eyes that pinned Karl in place. He couldn’t peg her age. She was older than he was, but still seemed youthful. She looked … haggard, but in a way that didn’t detract from her looks. There were dark circles under her eyes, a sharp contrast to the paleness of her skin. And she stared at Karl without cease.
“Uh, hi? Do you need anything?”
Karl took a hesitant step towards the woman, attempting a smile. The woman moved for the first time; flinching at Karl’s approach. Her expression didn’t change though. She looked at him for another long moment … and then turned around and walked off. She didn’t re the path or head towards the road. Instead, she walked into the tree-line, soon vanishing from sight.
Karl stared at the spot where she had vanished. He shivered, wondering what that had been about.
“Okay, maybe this place isn’t perfect. There are some weird people here after all.”
Karl forced a laugh, and continued on his walk. He was approaching the centre of the small town. Karl saw his first vehicle of the day, a beat up old truck spluttering its way down the main road. It pulled over and parked a few dozen feet in front of him. Karl was about to turn back, see if his girlfriend was awake yet, when he saw what looked like a cafe.
The young man hesitated, and checked his pockets. He was relieved to find that he had taken his wallet with him — more out of habit than anything else. He could get some coffee, maybe see if the place had any pastries or anything sweet. It would be better than what he currently had back at the cabin, and Jess would appreciate it.
As Karl walked towards the cafe, he was almost knocked over by the door of the old truck being kicked open. Karl jumped out of the way, stumbling slightly. He glared at the guy getting out of cab.
“Fuck, be careful, man!”
The driver turned slowly to face Karl. He looked the younger man up and down, sneering.
“Or what?”
Karl hesitated. Was he going to be two for two in running into weirdos?
“Look, you nearly knocked me down, that’s all.”
The man sucked on crooked and yellow teeth, making a terrible squelching noise.
“Sounds like that’s a ‘you’ problem.”
The man looked quite belligerent, and Karl was unsure of how to play the situation. He wasn’t worried about being hurt. The man had a large frame, but he was skinny as a rail. His bony limbs swallowed up by the dirty brown coat he wore. He was an older guy as well, with a craggy and lined face. Grey hair that stuck out in tufts from under a knitted cap. He could have been anywhere from fifty to seventy.
Karl took a deep breath, getting his temper under control. He didn’t want to have a fight with some old man in the middle of town on his first day here. Karl decided to play nice. Maybe the guy was just having a rough morning.
“Look, man — no harm done. I was just startled, okay? I’m Karl. My uncle lived here. Maybe you knew him? Arnold? Arnold Fischer? He ed away this year.”
The man was still sucking at his teeth, looking ill-temperedly dismissive as Karl spoke. When the man heard him say his uncle’s name though, he froze.
“You — you moved into the log cabin down the way?”
“Uh, maybe? It’s the one back along the road behind me, if that’s what you mean —”
The man took an aggressive step forward, and Karl was alarmed enough that he raised his hands in readiness. The man barely seemed to notice though. He turned his head and spat onto the path.
“Thought we were done with that place. Thought it would be torn down.”
He spat again, glowering.
“Cursed damn place that it is.”
Karl backed up, his mind racing. This guy definitely had to be the town crazy.
“I think you’ve got the wrong idea. I only got here yesterday —”
The old man was getting more and more agitated. His face was getting redder by the second. Flecks of spittle were flying from his mouth as he spoke.
“You can’t fool me! I know what went on there — what was done! It was finally over, finally — if you start it all up again, I’ll — I’ll —”
The man clenched his fists open and closed by his side, breathing so fast he was panting. Then he spun without a word, getting back into his truck. The tires didn’t squeal as he peeled back onto the road, but that was only because of the limitations of the vehicle — not from lack of trying on the old man’s behalf.
Karl just stared.
“… what the hell is going on this morning? Is there a sign on my forehead or something …?”
Karl looked around. There were a few people glancing in his direction, but none of them seemed all that taken aback by what had happened. It strengthened Karl’s idea that he had just met the resident crazy person of Bracken Ridge.
He sighed, rubbing at his head. Karl found that his good mood had all but vanished. He didn’t even feel like going to the cafe anymore.
Karl was about to head back to the cabin, when a voice called out his name.
“Mr Fischer! Sorry — Karl! Good morning!”
Karl turned, recognising the voice. Although he did a double-take at seeing her out of her professional business attire. Alisha, the friendly woman who had greeted him the day before, was striding up towards him, a welcoming smile on her face. She was properly attired for the cold this time, with a coat and a thick scarf wrapped around her neck. Her blonde hair was being blown about her face, a charmingly messed-up look.
Alisha beamed at Karl as reached him. She stood, her hands in the pockets of her coat, her face flushed from the cold.
“How lovely to see you up so early! Are you getting coffee as well?”
Looking into her pretty, smiling face, Karl already felt better.
